The camp’s mission is to provide a safe environment for young girls ages 9-12 who come from Daddyless homes an opportunity to express themselves freely in regards to life challenges and promote self-worth through group counseling, workshops and activities. The workshops will be conducted by seasoned educators and administrators who have passed background and drug testing and the counseling sessions will be facilitated by licensed therapists. By the end of the camp the goal of I AM EMPOWERED camp is for each girl to vow to love self and be empowered through self-worth!
